Soybean Oil History:
The term soy oil is a modern term for soya bean oil and it was first used by Jordon in 1918, it was not used globally until 1940. Soybean oil was first introduced by Piper and Mosse in 1923.

EXTRACTION PROCESS (How We Make?):
Soybean oil extracted from the seeds of Glycine max belongs to the family Fabaceae. It is a slightly yellowish-colored fluid liquid, an odor pleasant and a characteristic, mint taste.

The solvent extraction process and cold-pressed process are used for the extraction of this incredible oil. In this method first crack the soybean seeds into two pieces and make the best flakes for oil extraction. Screening and aspiration processes are used for the separation of hulls. The flakes are solvent extracted by hexane and obtained from crude soybean oil. Then oil is refined, degummed, neutralized, and bleached for different applications. By these steps, we remove high amount of hydratable phosphatides, free fatty acids, glycerol, resins, metals, oil soluble triglyceride, and wax.
